Listening Hands Bodywork Workshop: For Yin & Restorative Yoga Teachers

  • Boaré Yoga Art Studio 2 Rodenbergstraße Berlin, BE, 10439 Germany (map)

Hosted by Joanna

Join Joanna for this 3-hour workshop designed for Yin & Restorative Yoga teachers who are curious about including hands-on assists and touch in their practice but aren't sure where to start. We go beyond technique. You'll explore the science of why touch works — fascia, the nervous system, the body's meridian pathways — and you'll spend most of the time with your hands on actual bodies, learning to listen as much as to guide.

Through partnered practice across six core Yin postures, you'll discover how key acupressure points along the Bladder, Gallbladder, Liver, Kidney, Lung and Heart meridians can inform exactly where your hands go — and why. We'll also cover consent, reading body language, and the verbal cues that make touch feel like support rather than intervention.

You'll leave with a clear, embodied starting point — and the confidence to begin.

Open to: Yoga Teachers or curious future teachers of Yin & Restorative practices, including those who have never offered touch before.

Group size: Max 14 participants.

About the facilitator

Joanna is a Yin Yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner, trained in Shiatsu at the Shiatsu Schule Kreuzberg, where she also assists and teaches in the introductory and first-year programs. Her work is inspired by the idea that touch can be a form of meditation: nourishing, grounding, and deeply present. Joanna is passionate about sharing ways of working with the body that invite softness, listening, and ease — for ourselves and for others.
