Hosted by Almudena Vega
Almudena Vega is a Spanish artist whose music builds a bridge between the devotional traditions of India and contemporary European sensibility.
Over eight years of intensive training in India, she immersed herself in the classical and spiritual musicof North India, living and studying in Vrindavan, the sacred land of Krishna, where she delved deeply into the roots of kirtan and bhakti devotional music.
Her training was neither superficial nor purely academic; it was a lived immersion in daily practice, close study with local masters, and direct experience of collective chanting as a transformative path. There, she mastered harmonium, mrdanga, and tabla, as well as the rhythmic and melodic foundations of the Hindustani tradition.
Today, Almudena channels this deep knowledge into a stage project that combines authenticity with freshness.
More than a concert, Almudena offers a collective experience where tradition, presence, and modernity converge.
Her music has resonated on stages across Germany, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, India, and Mauritius, performing at festivals, international retreats, and private concerts, connecting with diverse audiences through the universal power of devotional chant. Her work fits within world music circuits, contemporary spirituality contexts, and intercultural programming, bringing a strong female voice to the dialogue between East and West.
