Hosted by Joanna Mainaud
This 3-hour workshop introduces Shiatsu-inspired, floor-based bodywork practiced with softness and presence. Through gentle somatic explorations and guided partner work, you’ll learn how to offer supportive, grounding touch.
We focus on working from the center and cultivating sensitivity and ease. You will leave with techniques you can apply right away, with loved ones or in your work. The workshop is open to everyone and can be especially supportive for yoga teachers who wish to confidently offer respectful, present touch during Savasana, Yin, or Restorative practices.
What to Expect:
Gentle somatic practices to arrive in your body
Introduction to Shiatsu principles: working from the center
Floor-based bodywork techniques for grounding and relaxation
How to land touch, follow the breath, and leave touch with care

Space for feedback, reflection, and integration
Who It’s For:
Yoga teachers wanting to offer present, supportive touch in Savasana, Yin, or Restorative classes
Bodyworkers curious to explore Shiatsu-inspired techniques
Anyone interested in touch as a language of care and connection
Every body is welcome — no prior experience needed.
