Hosted by Jane
On the evening of the winter solstice, everything stands still. It is the shortest day and the longest night of the year – the turning point when the light returns. This special time invites you to let go of what lies behind you and create space for what is to come.
This half-day retreat combines flowing yoga sequences with guided journaling, meditation, and a concluding Yin Yoga session that allows body and mind to sink into deep relaxation. Inspired by the tradition of the Twelve Days of Christmas, you will reflect on the past year, identify what you wish to let go of, and formulate heartfelt wishes for the new year.
As a central element, we will jointly create the ritual of the 13 heartfelt wishes – a modern interpretation of an old custom that begins at the winter solstice: You write down 13 heartfelt wishes, one of which is symbolically given to the fire on each of the twelve nights, until only one remains – the one for whose fulfillment you yourself are responsible.
After the workshop you will receive an accompanying Rauhnächte workbook , which will allow you to further explore the time between the years and continue the topics from the retreat at home.
