The women of the Huni Kuin villages are weavers and artists who bring visions into the physical world. They carry the ancient wisdom of the Kene - the traditional Huni Kuin patterns and symbols that embody protection and a deep connection with the Spirits of Nature.

Ayani and Maxi are also the guardians of birth in their village, supporting women throughout pregnancy and childbirth.

What to expect:

• Each woman will have the opportunity to receive a sacred ritual using plants and traditional practices from the Amazon rainforest. Beginning with a clear personal intention, Ayani and Maxiani will offer a deep cleansing and prayer for each participant, supporting women and their wombs, pregnant women as well as those who wish to conceive.

• Together, we will connect with our voices, listen to birth stories, explore the wisdom and symbolism of Huni Kuin art, and create space for dialogue, reflection, and questions.

Who is this for:

This immersion is open to anyone who feels called to learn from the Huni Kuin people. It is especially offered to women who wish to deepen their connection with their wombs and/or consciously prepare or honor the path of birth. Men and people of all genders are also warmly welcome to join, learn from the Indigenous women, and share this experience. Throughout the weekend, we will gather in both mixed circles and separate circles.
