Amara Kaya End of Year Retreat

December 4th - December 11th, 2026 • Goa, India

This week-long yoga & wellness retreat invites you to close the year in an embodied and grounded way, while preparing internally for what is ahead. Together we will consciously transition into the new year, creating space for reflection, integration, physical healing, emotional processing, and clear intention-setting.

Guided by the Amara Kaya philosophy, each day leads you gently back to your natural state of timeless harmony through Yoga, Breathwork, Acupuncture, Thai Bodywork, and an Ayurvedic diet.

Shedding what no longer serves you, the retreat opens space for a lighter & more joyful wellbeing.

Timeless Body. Deep Healing. New Beginnings.

A rare, personalised healing experience rooted in ancient wisdom

A team of experienced healing guides with ancient holistic approaches to health crafts a personalized wellness path for every participant, ensuring a deeply tailored experience for you. With an intimate group size, a unique blend of therapeutic techniques, and the serene natural surroundings of Goa, the retreat offers both meaningful community and spacious moments of introspection.

The outcome is a renewed sense of clarity, vitality, and grounded self-connection—transformation held gently, yet powerfully.

Amara Kaya means “the eternal body” — the living connection between nature, spirit, and the body’s own intelligence. Healing, in the language of Amara Kaya, is a return — a remembering of our own inherent rhythm and vitality. Each experience is designed to restore the harmony between body, mind, and nature, blending the intuitive touch of Eastern traditions with the calm elegance of contemporary wellness. A return to wholeness, guided by nature, supported by ancient lineages, and curated with personal care.

Retreat Highlights

Flow & Intention

Amara Kaya unfolds in the quiet closing days of the year, a natural time to pause, reflect, and gently complete what is ready to be left behind.

This retreat is held as a space for deep restoration and reconnection, where bodywork, yoga, breathwork, and holistic practices support the nervous system and invite the body back into its natural rhythm. Through touch, movement, and stillness, layers can soften and release, allowing space for clarity and new intention to emerge.

Held in a small and intimate setting, the retreat allows for truly personalized support and a deeper, more individual process.

Each day follows a spacious and intentional flow, from morning practice and bodywork sessions to nourishing meals, rest, and evenings that invite integration and quiet connection.

Set in the serene beauty of Goa, Amara Kaya becomes a space of subtle yet profound transformation — a place to land fully in yourself and transition into the new year with clarity, steadiness, and renewed vitality.

  • “By operating out of her highest frequency, Ilka creates a climate for her clients to work up to their highest frequency. An acupuncturist and massage therapist but also a deeper soul: a medicine woman, a shaman, and an exceptional ally to anyone who wishes to raise their health to optimum ideal.”

  • “What truly sets Ilka apart for me is her dedication to supporting my overall health outside of our sessions. Her guidance has been invaluable, and I feel like I’m not just getting treatment, but also the tools to take control of my health. And more than that, I feel like I have a friend to help me along the way, addressing hurdles as they come while working towards building a stable core that I can rely on.”

    - Axar

  • "Not only is Ilka highly skilled in multiple healing arts - acupuncture, visceral massage, Thai massage, reflexology, and deep tissue work — but she also has an intuitive sense of what the body truly needs. Each session is unique and thoughtfully tailored, and the results have been life-changing for me. Her ability to integrate different techniques into a seamless, deeply restorative experience is extraordinary.
