Marianne Schmidt
Marianne Schmidt, better known as Mary, has 14 years of professional experience in massage and bodywork, as well as extensive training and continuing education. Her special skill is listening attentively through touch.
Both wild and gentle, Marianne embodies this apparent contradiction. A born nomad, she speaks several languages and combines spirit and sensuality with a zest for life. She is passionately committed to finding ways to make life easier, more meaningful, and more enjoyable.
Her diverse training ranges from state-certified medical training in massage and balneotherapy in Germany to numerous alternative therapies and massage styles from around the world.
“A good massage isn’t about me giving and my client receiving. It’s a shared fusion into a work of art brimming with happiness hormones—a moment in which the boundaries between me and my client become fluid.”
Every touch is like a brushstroke; every movement is like a dance set to music that only the two of us can hear. Together, we become an installation in the art space.
"I've been working as a professional massage therapist for over twelve years—and massage has been a part of my personal life for many years before that. Every massage I give is a unique work of art to me."
— Mary Marianne
