Permaculture Summer School

May 9th-10th • June 6th-7th • July 4th-5th • August 29th-30th • September 5th - 6th, 2026 • Briesen, Germany

Your reconnection with nature

Learning to grow your own food organically is not just a skill: it’s the concrete foundation of a long and healthy life!

No guilt. No excuses.

Here, you learn how to cultivate the land, even in pots on the balcony! And, most importantly, you learn how to cultivate yourself. You become self-sufficient, you reconnect with natural rhythms and you find a community that shares your values.

Choose Your Weekends

  • Setting Up a Thriving Garden

    May 9th - 10th, 2026

    Included: workshop about bee keeping

  • Safe from Weeds in the Garden Explosion

    June 6th - 7th, 2026

You learn to manage abundance and to act defense without chemicals! Beneficial insects, juicy fertilizers and weeding tools are part of the teaching; alongside designing the greenhouse setup whilst managing its growth

    Included: workshop about drink fermentation

  • The Calm Before the Great Harvest

    July 4th - 5th, 2026

Time to be proactive and think about plant health and nutrition with safety pruning, rescue remedies and boosting fertilizers. Herbs, beans and (some) flowers need to be dried now, and we will go through all the ways of storing and preserving our harvest.

Included: workshop about natural skin care

  • Harvest, Plant, Repeat

    August 29th - 30th, 2026

Time to start all over again with planting the winter season and harvesting the seeds that are ready on the plants. We will maximize the growth of our pumpkins, before storage.

    Included: workshop about natural saponification

  • Prolong Your Season

    September 5th - 6th, 2026

There are tricks to extend the life of your plants, and we will use them all here, including some pruning techniques for trees. This Module contains the experience of holding an actual Market: planning, display, selling, counting savings, investments. Learn all about being a farmer!

  • Your Teachers

    Benny & MaVie

  • “I attended Benny and Mavie’s Permaculture Summer School this weekend and it was absolutely magical to dive into their worlds living in full harmony with nature. Benny grows so many varieties on his one hectare without mechanic tools, and Mavie is the most amazing Yoga teacher and creative chef!”

    — Kira, participant 2024

  • "Feeling nourished and calm in my body & mind after a weekend of farming in 32°, nourishing meals, sauna, bonfires and sleeping under the stars. It was so interesting to learn about pruning, “Veredelung” of trees, getting seeds from tomatoes, composting, preparation of the soil, healing herbs .. just to name a few."

    Ghilad, participant 2023

  • “It was a wonderful weekend. I learned a lot about permaculture. All my questions were answered, and we were a great group. A heartfelt thank you to the hosts.”

Location

The exact address is not public, but the town where the farm is is called Briesen (15757), near Tropical Island in the south of Berlin.

From the station of Oderin, on foot:
Exit the train and reach platform 2. Start walking the path behind it, keeping the railway to your right side. Once the pavement ends, keep walking through the field, always keeping near to the railway on your right side.
You will then cross a small forest, and will then finish on a white path. Walk until you see the majestic white greenhouses and enter from the first field.

By bicycle:
From platform 1 go on the main road and cycle towards the left (the side where you don’t have to cross any railway). Follow until you pass the yellow sign of BRIESEN before entering the town, there is a curve towards the right. Instead of passing the curve, enter it, pass the railway, make a right, see the greenhouses
