Practice Untamed Retreat

May 22nd - 25th, 2026 • Bahnitz, Brandenburg

This retreat is about rest as reclamation and movement as exploration.

No curated moments, no aesthetic stillness, no perfectly glowing girls in meditation for the grid. Just time with those who are done with that old version of wellness. On our mats, off our mats, together unmasked.

Ideal for women of the global majority, teachers, serious practitioners, who are ready to practice untamed.

This is not your average retreat.

It’s a space to move, reflect, rest, learn and unlearn as someone who is actively part of the 'wellness' world.

Asana as a tool, rest as your teacher, cultural wisdoms as your compass.

Food

The wonderful Vicky will cook delicious vegan food for us. She takes good care of our culinary needs and is selecting her products in a sustainable and seasonal way. Fresh fruits and vegetables filled with nuts, seeds, and healthy grains area big part of her kitchen.

After the morning practice she prepares us a nourishing breakfast/brunch. In the early afternoon there will be a lunch snack or coffee & cake and a full meal in the evening after our Yin practice.

If you have any allergies or intolerances, please let us know in advance.

Assorted appetizers including crostini topped with creamy cheese and capers, romaine lettuce wraps with chickpeas and white dressing, and individual chocolate desserts topped with blueberries.
A table with a variety of foods including tomatoes, cucumbers, sprouts, a dish of hummus topped with sautéed mushrooms, a bowl of pickles, halved passion fruits, and a glass of water.
Two metal platters with sliced tomatoes, artichoke hearts, basil leaves, and yellow and green peppers, placed on stone surfaces and against a stone wall.
Fruit salad with grapefruit slices and purple flower petals in a white bowl, with a container of raspberries and orange-colored dish nearby.

Meet your hosts

Young woman practicing yoga on a mat in a neutral room, performing the Cobra pose with hands on the ground and upper body lifted.
  • Uta Eismann is a certified yoga teacher and mindfulness coach based in Berlin.

She has a background in contemporary dance and it was during her dance studies that she gained a deeper understanding of yoga and the impact it has on wellbeing.

Finding this practice empowered Uta to create a sense of inner peace and harmony, giving her the ability to tune in to how her body and mind feel each day.

Uta sees yoga and meditation as a way of connecting with her spiritual side and forming synergy between body, mind, and breath.

  • Jil is a Hypnosis Coach and Breathwork Facilitator with over five years of experience supporting women on their journey back to themselves. Her work blends breath, movement, and presence — offering spaces for intuitive dance, women’s circles, cacao rituals, and mentorship for cyclical living.

Through the processes of unbecoming and remembering, Jil creates spaces for women to shed old identities, reconnect with their truth, and reclaim their feminine, innate power.

She offers honest, nurturing environments where women can move freely, express, be witnessed, and return to a more natural way of living — empowered to live in rhythm, in trust, in connection to their inner voice.

A woman with brown hair in braids looks down while working at a table with pottery and candles, surrounded by green plants.
  • Uli is a ceramic artist whose craft is deeply inspired by the textures and raw beauty of nature.

Her slow, intuitive clay workshop invites participants to explore the meditative rhythm of working with clay.

Uli encourages a connection to the material and the moment, leaving space for creativity to unfold naturally.

If you are coming by train, take the RE1 from Berlin to Wusterwitz. From there we can book you a group taxi (the costs are shared by the group).
