Zen Thai Shiatsu Level 1 Foundational Training
April 2nd - April 5th, 2026 • UHU Healing, Alt-Treptow, Berlin
Led by Lauren & support team
This four-day foundation training is an exploration of Zen Thai Shiatsu...
Weaving elements of Yoga Asana, Zen Shiatsu (Japan/TCM), Traditional Thai massage and Osteopathic techniques.
All integrated with mindfulness at the core. In learning a full 90-minute sequence, you’ll be introduced to practical tools and gain valuable knowledge on structural and energetic therapy. For the entire four days you’ll receive and practice technique, also cultivating inner awareness, a deepened sense of touch and enrichment of conscious community.
This training is well known as being far more than an immersion into a bodywork program.
This course is a pre-requisite to the Level 2 training with Gwyn Willians, Natan in Belgium or one of the 9 month programs in Europe, Australia or World Wide
What is Zen Thai Shiatsu
A modality created by Gwyn Williams, a passionate bodyworker and yoga teacher — and one of the last lucky ones to have studied with the elder masters of Traditional Thai Massage. Zenthai was born on Mount Ninderry, in the Sunshine Coast, within a shala nestled in the Australian rainforest.
A place of primal sacredness, where classes unfold around the fire, surrounded by curious kangaroos and kookaburras cheeky enough to steal your lunch from your hands.
It is a magical place, which over the years has become the beating heart of a community of massage therapists, yogis, and healers seeking a simple lifestyle and a new social model - one rooted in sharing, self-awareness, and deep connection with others.
In this space, we learn a sequence only to forget the sequence.
We slow down to perceive the smallest nuance.
We rediscover the joy of helping one another.
This training is a journey back home - toward a sense of belonging often forgotten - a space where we are celebrated for who we truly are, deeply connected with ourselves and everything around us.
Our invitation is to open the heart, to notice the beauty that surrounds us. To breathe, to slow down, to listen. From here, the path of growth has already begun.
