A cyclical ceremony
What if your menstrual cycle wasn’t something to push through, manage, or hide but a relationship you could learn to love? We live in a culture that often asks us to stay in “ovulation mode” all the time: productive, energetic, radiant, social, and available. But our bodies are cyclical. We move through different inner seasons, each with its own rhythm, needs, wisdom, and gifts. In this circle, we’ll make our cycles, and the societal expectations we carry around them, visible.
For our first gathering, we enter winter: menstruation.
A time of turning inward, slowing down, releasing, resting, and listening. Through journaling, guided reflection, sharing, meditation, and embodiment, we’ll explore our personal relationship with menstruation and begin to question the stories we have inherited around periods, PMS, productivity, and rest. Rather than seeing PMS or changing energy as something to fight, we’ll practice becoming curious:
What is my body asking for? What wants to be released? What happens when I stop forcing myself to keep going?
This is a space to soften, reconnect, and meet the different parts of yourself with more compassion. A circle to remember that you don’t have to be the same every day.
Come as you are.
Come into winter.
Come meet your cycle.
And perhaps, little by little, become a lover of your cycle. 🌙
