Outdoor Cacao Ceremony

  • Munich Isar Meadows Brudermühlbrücke München, Bayern, 81 Germany (map)

Hosted by Lena Brandt

With a cup of ceremonial cacao in hand, surrounded by the whisper of the trees, the flowing water, and birdsong, we gather in a circle in the heart of nature. Switch off your mind, turn on your heart. Become fully present in the moment. Feel the vibrancy of summer. Experience oneness with everything. Connection with yourself, with other people, with Mother Nature and all her beings and qualities.

We embark on a truly wonderful journey through body, mind, and soul, which generates energy, harmony, and connection within us. And we return to everyday life strengthened, nourished, and deeply touched.

Our playground is the Munich Isar meadows between Flaucher and Brudermühlbrücke.

Ceremonial cacao:

Ceremonial cacao has a millennia-old cultural history as a fortifying and sacred drink and was considered by the Maya and Aztecs to be one of the most valuable goods and food of the gods.

Cacao is a medicine for body, mind, heart, and soul. Depending on your individual needs and circumstances, cacao will affect you in very different ways. However, cacao always gives the heart a voice again and allows it to beat in harmony with the universal rhythm. The spirit of cacao allows us to recognize that we are part of the greater whole. It opens our hearts, grounds us, comforts us, empowers us, nourishes us, warms us, opens us up, centers us, and helps us remember.

Preparation:

Cacao is a subtle plant medicine. On the day of the ceremony, I ask you not to drink coffee, as coffee has a strong effect on the brain and body. It is recommended to come with an easily digestible stomach.

Bring a bottle of water, a seat cushion, and feel free to bring paper and a pen to jot down your thoughts. Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to sit comfortably.

Important note:

People taking antidepressants, suffering from chronic heart problems, epilepsy, or high blood pressure should consume cocoa with caution. Please contact us beforehand if this applies to you.

Pregnancy and cacao ceremonies generally go well together. It's usually advisable to drink slightly less cacao, so please let us know in advance. And of course, it's important to listen to your body.
