Somatic Water Therapy Training – Foundation Level (50 Hours)
August 20th -August 27th, 2026 • Dahab, Egypt
Led by Fabian Atlantis, founder of Oceanic Ventures
This Somatic Water Therapy Training is a 7-day immersive foundation program designed for those called to work with water as a therapeutic medium.
This professional training combines pool-based and open-water practice with somatic awareness, embodied facilitation, movement, breath, and integration. Participants are guided through experiential learning, supervised practice, and group processes that support both personal embodiment and professional development.
The training takes place in Dahab, Egypt — a location known for its calm waters, reliable conditions, and long-standing culture of ocean-based practice. Sessions are held in a dedicated retreat venue with pool access, as well as selected open-water environments in the Red Sea.
Professional Training Pathway
The Somatic Water Therapy Training is designed as a modular professional pathway rather than a single standalone course.
This 50-hour foundation training represents the first level of the pathway. Advanced and extended training modules are planned to follow, allowing practitioners to deepen their skills, log additional practice hours, and refine their facilitation over time.
Future training levels may include:
Advanced Somatic Water Therapy Training
Extended practice and mentorship modules
Specialized trainings in group facilitation, trauma-informed practice, or open-water work
Completion of the foundation level is a prerequisite for all advanced modules.

A guided journey into the Sinai desert, including a climb of Mount Sinai and a visit to a sacred water source, supporting themes of initiation, endurance, and embodied presence.Blue Hole visit

Fabian grew up in Berlin. He formed an early connection with the sea as he learned to windsurfing from his father in the Baltic Sea when he was a little boy. He worked with technology startups, founded a Pan-African non-profit organization, and consulted the United Nations. In his thirties, he entered a personal crisis resulting in burnout and depression.
He tried out a variety of different modern and ancient healing methods, which led him to volunteering in dolphin conservation in the Red Sea of Egypt. He began to swim with wild dolphins and became deeply connected to the sea again. His dream is to assist people in exploring their inner worlds by going deep into the sea and having the best time of their lives.
He spends his free time traveling the world and honing his skills in Somatic Water Therapy, Yoga, and Freediving. He was initiated by the Huni Kuin during a Nixpupima ceremony and was named Bixku.
